Shannon is a contemporary portrait photographer based in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada, who discovered her flair for photography after enrolling in the intro digital photography class at the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design (NASCAD) in the fall of 2012. She has since further developed her skills through continued self study fuelled by her desire to be creative; and less than an year and a half after picking up a digital SLR camera for the first time, her photography work was published in the internationally distributed Inside Fitness Magazine.

As an MBA graduate and finance professional of 7 years, Shannon enjoys having photography as a form of self expression and as a creative outlet. Shannon deeply enjoys contemporary portrait photography because she loves capturing the best in people and showing them - through her photography - how absolutely beautiful they are!
